Controller of Examination
Mandate
The Controller of Examination is devolved with the responsibility of Conducting and Monitoring the Examinations related activities of its Constituents and Affiliated Colleges of SKRAU, Bikaner
Functions and Duties
- Enrollment of the students after getting admissions in all Constituent colleges and affiliated Government and Private Colleges of the University.
- Making all arrangements necessary for holding examinations and declaration of results. It shall be his responsibility-
- to prepare and announce in advance the calendar of examinations;
- to arrange for printing of question papers;
- to arrange for process and timely declaration of results ;
- to postpone or cancel examinations, in part or in whole, in the event of malpractices or if the circumstances so warrant, and take disciplinary action or initiate any civil or criminal proceedings against any person or a group of persons or a college or an institution alleged to have committed malpractices.
- to take disciplinary action where necessary against the candidates, paper- setters, examiners, moderators, or any other persons connected with examinations and found guilty of malpractices in relation to the examinations;
- to maintain over all examinations record of the students.
- to ensure and maintain strict secrecy of all information regarding the examinations.
- to arrange payment of remuneration to question paper setters and examiners and all other contingent matters connected with examinations.
- Preparation of degrees and certificates to be distributed during the Convocations
- Declaration of faculty wise Merit list and Gold Medals of Undergraduate degree programmes.
- Issuance of Transcripts to Under Graduate students and Migration and Provisional degree certificates as and when required.
- Verification of the Mark sheets, degrees and other documents issued by the COE as and when sought by other departments and agencies for the purpose of appointments and higher educations.
