SKRAU Mandate
- Imparts education in Agriculture, Home Science (at graduate, post graduate and doctoral level) and Agri-Business Management (at post graduate and doctoral level)
- Provides placement services to cater the human resource requirement of various government, autonomous, private agencies etc.
- Develops and offers need based training/certificate/diploma courses
- Conducts specialized training programmes through on-site and/or distancemode
- Carry out research relevant to the agricultural needs of the country, in general, and to the state, in particular with special reference to the districts under its jurisdictions.
- Propagates the Agro-technology to the end users especially farmers and farm women
- Offers in-service training programmes to the staff of the department of agriculture
- Offers consultancy to various private organizations involved in developmental activities related to agriculture
- Provides communication and information management services
