SKRAU Mandate

Imparts education in Agriculture, Home Science (at graduate, post graduate and doctoral level) and Agri-Business Management (at post graduate and doctoral level)
Provides placement services to cater the human resource requirement of various government, autonomous, private agencies etc.
Develops and offers need based training/certificate/diploma courses
Conducts specialized training programmes through on-site and/or distancemode

Carry out research relevant to the agricultural needs of the country, in general, and to the state, in particular with special reference to the districts under its jurisdictions.
Propagates the Agro-technology to the end users especially farmers and farm women
Offers in-service training programmes to the staff of the department of agriculture
Offers consultancy to various private organizations involved in developmental activities related to agriculture
Provides communication and information management services
