2

Wheat

Low production

Delayed time of application of weedicide in wheat

Application of weedicide at 50 DAS control weeds germinated earlier as well as later hence complete weed control upto harvesting observed and increased the seed yield.

Directorate of Research, SKRAU

3

Guar

Low yield

Wider spacing in Guar

Guar crop can sow mechanically with wider spacing sowing at 67.5 cmin Zone 1b of Rajasthan with already available seed drill with farmers

Directorate of Research, SKRAU

4

Nutrient Supplementation

Protein deficiency among young adolescent girls in rural areas

Supplementation of Soya bean in wheat flour chapatti for rural adolescent girls

20 % Soya flour should be mixed with 80 % wheat flour while making chapatti for girls

Directorate of Research, SKRAU

5

Shisham

Defoliation and mortality of Shisham tree

Control of Defoliation in Shisham

Soil drenching with 40 lt. water followed by 75 g Furadon 3 G + thiophinate methyl 70% WP 80 g +10 lt. water should be used to reduced defoliation and mortality of shisham
